PTO/PTA Overview

Hello Jefferson Elementary Parents,

We as a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to welcome you to the start of a great school year.  As a PTO we hope you will consider the many ways in which you can enhance your student's learning beyond the classroom.

Jefferson PTO is made up of parents and teachers that work together to broaden the student's learning experience within and outside of school.  Through PTO funds the students are able to engage in learning based field trips, additional books, speakers, celebrations, and support our teachers.  To make this possible we need help from parents and community members.  come to our meetings, follow us on Facebook, or contact a member of the board to find your place in supporting the great work being done at Jefferson.

Meetings will be held on the first Monday school is in session each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Art room (just off the main hall.)  Come to our first meeting on September 10th to get to know other parents, see the vision of our new board, and learn how you can support your student through supporting your school.

Note:  The walk-a-thon, our major fundraising opportunity is scheduled for October 12th.
